UPDATE: Most everything (except for a few links and the photo galleries) is fixed now. While I was reimplementing the theme I went ahead and made some design changes. Hopefully nothing that will cause confusion.
In order to publish this blog I use a content management system from WordPress. Well, WordPress just came out with a major new upgrade that I have been looking forward to for some time. Today I tried it out on my test blog and it worked great. So I backed up all my files and databases and upgraded the software on my actual site.
Bummer.
My test site is not exactly like my actual site. Apparently, that makes a difference and after I upgraded I called up my page and it was completely blank.
Right now I have many regrets. One of them is that I wasn’t hooked up to an EKG when I first saw that blank page.
For now, enjoy the new look to our site. Over time it will get back to normal. As you can see I have all of the content of our site except the photos and the theme that makes our site look like it normally does. Fortunately, I have all of that backed up too, but before I can restore it all I need to figure out what caused the problem. That’s going to take some testing.
If you’ve subscribed to our posts via RSS feed, then you notice you’ve been informed of many new posts that are actually all old. Sorry about that.
