We have a new document assistant at TEDS and a new document assistant means changes to our dissertation and research paper template. You can download the latest version in the same place as always (https://www.toddjana.com/dissertation-template-download/
).
Please note, if you are in the middle of your dissertation or other research project, do not try to update your file by putting it in a new template. I’m a big fan of Wordles. Wordles are graphic representations of the frequency of words in any text (on a web page or in a document). The graphic above is a Wordle of my entire dissertation. Larger words appear more frequently than smaller words. You can actually get an idea of what my dissertation is like by looking over the Wordle. Click on the graphic above to view a larger version of the final Wordle or click through to see a gallery of all my dissertation Wordles.
I’m sorry. If you’re looking for my dissertation, I’m afraid it’s no longer available for download. That’s the bad news. The good news is it’s been published by Brill and is available for purchase from Amazon or may be in you local research library!
Click through to read the abstract or find out where you can get more of that Genesis goodness.

On July 16 I delivered the final draft of my dissertation (called the defense draft) to my committee at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. The committee (Drs. Richard Averbeck, K. Lawson Younger, and T. Desimond Alexander) have about one month to review my dissertation. Then, on August 14 I defend my dissertation before my committee and peers. It was a rush of activity leading up to July 16 and it will be a rush of activity after August 14.
