If you haven’t visited our gallery page in a while, you might want to check it out. We’ve added some new photos of Elisabeth in concert with the praise band she plays in, our small group, Trinity’s recent concert in Slovakia, and, of course, our first spring hikes.
In October of this year our seminary commemorated its 25th year with a celebration event at the university. Alumni, representatives from our founding denominations, former professors and current faculty and students got together to thank God for his work in establishing this important ministry for the Slovak church.

We’ve had quite a variety of activities this summer with an English camp, moving temporarily to the States, travel to visit supporters and now transitioning to the Trinity campus. All that shows up in our summer gallery.

We’ve introduced a little more variety into our spring photo gallery. Hiking still plays a big part. Since moving to Banská Bystrica, it’s been a tradition for us to kick off the hiking season with the Haja family on the Monday after Easter. Despite an early Easter, this year was no exception and we enjoyed a nice hike through a canyon in northern Slovakia. But along with those hiking photos we’ve got photos from a Roma congregation, preparation for summer ministries, a concert by Trinity College, and more.

We’ve finally gotten snow in Slovakia so it’s time to put up the winter gallery. Enjoy photos of new places we’ve discovered on our adventure walks around our property (more cliffs!), our congregation’s New Year’s celebration, and our trip to see Jana’s brother in Belgium (before this year we hadn’t seen them in almost 10 years, which means we met Oliver and Maxim for the first time this year).
About 70% of the students at Narnia come from nominally Catholic or unchurched backgrounds. So this is definitely an outreach ministry of our local church. One way that we build bridges between the school and our congregation is through Rest Time Outdoor–once per month outdoor activities for families.
