Just recently I became an official employee of our seminary in and so also of the University of Matej Bel in Banská Bystrica. On the surface, this doesn’t change my ministry priorities or day to day activities, but it does increases my long term ability to influence the viability and direction of the seminary and it changes our financial situation.
Last May I introduced you to Project Submarine, which is a sort of debate club organized by students from our youth group. The debates take place between students from the seminary and students from the Department of Applied Ethics. The goal of the project is really to build relationships with students and share the gospel.
This school year we’ve been continuing the debates and we’ve had some exciting developments. In June our university fellowship went on a weekend retreat and we invited our friends from Project Submarine. Three students from the Department of Applied Ethics came, including Marek.
Along with Narnia Elementary School there are a few other ministries in Banská Bystrica that we are excited about. In this post I’m writing about one that’s called “Projekt Ponorka” or Project Submarine.
